Eternal Life

Written By: IRoss - Oct• 27•14

Eternal Life.   For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.   God has made a promise to us that we can have eternal life.   God had fulfilled that promise by giving us his son Jesus Christ.  If we believe in Jesus Christ we can have eternal life.  The most important thing to remember is it is a gift from God.  All we have to do is believe in Jesus Christ and the gift is ours.   We where doom to death because of Adam sins but God with his great mercy, not willing that any man should perish, sent his son Jesus that we can escape eternal death.  God loves us and wants us to live forever.  God plan in the beginning was for us to live forever, to worship and praise him each and everyday.  God only wants what is good for us, his thought toward us are always good.  We know we should all be dead, because of our sins, and no man has done anything to earn eternal life.  The devil is trying his best to keep us from eternal life with the things of this world.  The gift is right before us, if we accept Jesus Christ as our savior, live according to God word, the promise shall be unto us.  So beloved accept your gift, do not let nothing or no one keep you from eternal life, because God wants you to have it.  Amen

Choice

Written By: IRoss - Oct• 20•14

Choice.  One thing is for sure in life is that we all are going to have to make a choice.  Everyday we are going to have to make a choice on something.  Whether is what to wear for the day, what we are going to eat for the day, what we going to say to another person, is we going to be happy today and on and on.  What is important in our choice, is not that we make a choice, but did we make the right choice.  If we know that we are going to have a choice, why not try to make sure it is the right choice.  Yes, there is a right and wrong in everything we do.  Some choices can hurt us and some don’t hurt us.  In choosing  what to do or not to do we should want to make the right choice.  One key ingredient in making a choice is listening to the right counsel.  In Psalms chapter 1 it says “blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly”.  Who we take counsel from is important because we should always want to take godly counsel always.  What God think, and what God has to say about what we do, or say should be important to us.  Also we should do what Proverb 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”.  Trusting God and acknowledging him will easy the decisions we have to make, because the Lord will always lead us to make the right decisions.  So beloved, strive to make the right choice, trust in God to help you, lead not to your own understand, but fear God and I know he will help you make the right choice in life.

A Good Conscience

Written By: IRoss - Oct• 13•14

A Good Conscience.  The Pharisees brought unto Jesus a woman taken in adultery and set her in their midst.  The Pharisees then ask Jesus a question, now  Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned:  but what sayest thou?  Jesus said to them he that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.  Being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one and left Jesus alone with the woman.  No one has to tell you if you are doing wrong or if you are doing right.  We all have a conscience of what is right and what is wrong.  We may not listen to our conscience when it comes to right or wrong but we all have a conscience.  Conscience is the sense of what is right or wrong in one’s conduct or motives.  We all know what our motives are and when we do things we know if it is right or wrong.  Jesus did not tell the Pharisees that they had sin in their lives, their own conscience convicted them of their sins.  Jesus came to clean us from a evil conscience, and dead works, that we may serve God with a good conscience.  Jesus wants us to know what is right, and then do what is right.  Let us serve God each day with a good conscience of knowing we have done what is right.  Let us put away every evil way, to ask God for grace, and strength to do his will.  We have a conscience toward God to please him, and let us let nothing stop us from doing his will.

False Prophets

Written By: IRoss - Oct• 06•14

False Prophets.  Jesus in his teachings told his disciples to beware of false prophets.  Yes, it is hard to believe that there are preachers out there that is not true, or real.  Anyone that say he come in the name of God and wears a suit we automatically assume that they are sent from God.  We must remember what Jesus said in Matthew 7:15  “Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  Which mean they look like a man of God on the outside, they talk like one, but on the inside they are not a man of God.   Just because a man can quote scriptures, make you feel good, tell you all you want to here do not mean that he sent from God.   How do you know that a man is a false prophet?  Jesus said in Matthew 7:16 “Ye shall know them by their fruits”.  The only way you can know if anyone is true, real or genuine is  by their life styles.  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.  How a preacher live, how he talk, how he treat people, are he out for your money, is ways you can tell.  Only judge someone by their fruits, not how big of church they have, or the money they have.  Jesus also warned his disciples that there shall be many false prophets in the world, not a few but many, you may not know but there is more false prophets than true prophets out in the world, why is that because remember we have a adversary the devil who come to steal, kill, and destroy who is out to deceive us.  So my friends be aware of false prophets, know that every man is not from God, prove all things, ask God for leadership and counsel and I know God will help you to see who is false and who is true.  By their fruits you shall know them.

Praise Ye The Lord

Written By: IRoss - Sep• 22•14

Praise Ye The Lord!   The bible says let everything that has breath praise ye the Lord.  It is our duty, our calling, our purpose on this earth to give God the praise each and everyday.  There should not be a day, a time, a moment, a situation that God should not get the glory.  Ever great thing that happen in our life is because of God.  God mercy and grace is given to us each and everyday.  God love reaches out to everyone and he has no respect of person.  Praise is the expression of approval of admiration, the offering of grateful homage as an act of worship.  There is no doubt that God is great and should be greatly praise.  We should be grateful for what God  has done, and give him the praise for what he going to do.  We must always remember God holes our life in his hand, he calls the shots, whether we live or die.  So my friends let the praises of God ring out of your soul each and everyday.  Do not forget to give him the glory, sing praises to him with thanksgiving in your heart, know that God is our Lord and has great power and if we trust in him he will make life worth living for us.  In Ephesians 5:19-20 it says “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ”.  Do this and see want your days on this earth will be great.

A Hard Life

Written By: IRoss - Sep• 15•14

A Hard Life.  Life without Christ can be very hard.  God sent his son that we may have life and that more abundantly, but walking without Christ can be very difficult.  In  Proverb 13:15 it says “but the way of transgressors is hard”.  A transgressor is one who brakes God law.  Sin is the transgression of the law.  If you sin life can be very hard for you, because there is consequences for sin.  What can bring on a lot of trouble in your life is sin.  Don’t think you can live anyway, do anything, say whatever you want and God just turns his back.  Yes, God is loving, kind and very forgiving but if we walk in sin he has a problem with that.  Sin can ruin your life, and  make life very hard.  You may wonder why someone may struggle, things do not go right, they have problem after problem, sometime you can look at the life they are living and it will give you the answer.  Roman 2:9 says “Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew  first and also of the gentile”.  God do not care who your are, if you do evil, or sin trouble will follow you.  God will for us to have a good life and it comes with obeying his word.  You will have problem, and situations are going to arise, but God is always there to help you through them.  But doing evil, walking in sin and having no mind to do right you can expect a hard life.  So if you want to have a easier life and if you want glory, honor and peace do that which is right and good and see want life  be a whole lot easier for you.

Loving God With Your Mind

Written By: IRoss - Sep• 08•14

Loving God With Your Mind.    The Pharisees ask Jesus what was the great commandment in the law?  Jesus said  unto them “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind”.  How do you love God with your mind?  To love God with your mind is to think good thoughts.  You remember what got the world destroyed back in Noah day was every imaginations of the thoughts of man heart was only evil continually.  God repented that he had made man on the earth and it grieved him at his heart.  So it is important what we think, to God, we cannot think on any and everything and please God.  Paul told the people in Philippians 4:8 this, “Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever thing are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are good report;  if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things”.  To love God with your mind we have to think good thoughts, he sees and knows what we are thinking.  God wants to be glorified in our thoughts.  Before evil can be done it first starts with the thought, but if you are thinking good thoughts, evil cannot be conceived.  Let us love God with our mind, think good thoughts each and everyday, when evil thoughts come to you cast them down remember the scripture in 2 Corinthians 10:5 “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ”.  If we do this God will be please with our thinking.

Submit To God

Written By: IRoss - Sep• 01•14

Submit To God.   In the book of James it tells us to submit yourselves therefore to God.  Why do the bible tells us to submit unto God?  The reason is God is the one that made us.  God created man from the dust of the earth.   The reason why we exist is because of God.  Psalm  100:3 says “Know ye that the Lord he is God:  it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves;  we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture”.  God made us, and not ourselves, and we are his children, so it is very important that we remember that.  Now we all know that the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy do not want us to recognize God.  The devil do not want us to submit to God will.  The devil wants us to live our life as if we made ourselves and we can do whatever we want, we are free from God and we do not have to answer to God.  God  made man so that he can serve and worship him each and everyday.  God want man to obey him and keep his commandments.  There is only two forces that exist in life, there is God who made us and wants us to serve him, and there is the devil, who do not wants us to submit to God, and do whatever he wants.  So we have to make a choice whether we are going to submit to God or submit to the devil.  My friends let us submit to God each and everyday.  Follow his way, ask him for guidance, and help.  Know that the Lord is God, he is supreme over all, that he is  good and his mercy endureth to all generations.

A Place Of Refuge

Written By: IRoss - Aug• 25•14

A Place Of Refuge.    Proverbs 24:26 says “In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence, and his children shall have a place of refuge”.  Refuge is a shelter from danger or trouble.  In this life there is some must danger and trouble, ever where you turn there is evil.  But we all must know that there is a place we can go for shelter in a time of storm.  When life seems like it is getting the best of you there is a place to turn for relief.  We do not know what is going to befall us in our daily life, we cannot predict the future.   We all want to be save, have a house, wife, kids, money, car, job, and good health, but sometime it just don’t work out for us.  Life can throw all type of unexpected troubles, and sometimes it is totally out of our control.  The good news is when things arise there is confidence in knowing we have a savior who cares about us and is there for a refuge.  Hebrews 4:15-16 says, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need”.  Jesus is there to help us in our time of need, and we all going to need his help, mercy and grace.  Beloved be confidence that you are not alone, know there is help for you, know that God loves you and wants you to be happy.  When life hits you with sickness, disease, some type of sufferings, the Lord has a place of refuge for you that you may be comfort through whatever you are facing. Always remember this scripture Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”. Amen

Relationship (Divorce)

Written By: IRoss - Aug• 18•14

Relationship (Divorce).  The Pharisees asked Jesus a question, is it lawful for a man to put away his wife?  Jesus answered and said unto them, what did Moses command you?  Naturally the Pharisees said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away. Listen what Jesus told them, for the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.  So the reason God let Moses give the bill of divorcement was the people heart was not right with God.  Which mean today if people get a divorce, it is because somebody heart is not right, it do not matter which one it is, but to want a divorce somebody do not want to do what is right.  Jesus also told the Pharisees, But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female, for this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they twain shall be one flesh, what therefore God had joined together, let not man put asunder. ( Mark 10:5-10 ).  God never will for man and woman to get a divorce, he will that once someone marry they are together unto death.  Divorce is a act of Satan, he do not want people to stay married, why, because it is God will.  Anything that is God will, the devil fights, and he fights hard against marriage.  If want you to stay married you can, I told my wife when we first got married, I do not believe in divorce, you not going to get a divorce from me, any problem we have we can work out through God grace, because I want to be married and I am going to strive to do what is right in our marriage.  But the devil have made it so simple to divorce, if she can’t cook divorce her, if she will not clean the house divorce her, if he is lazy divorce him, there is a million ways why people divorce.  But God will to stay married to death that is why he told his disciples in Mark 10:11-12, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her, and if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeh adultery.  It is simple God want you to get married and stay married, do not let the devil fool you into divorce.
